OIL VACUUM PUMP
A rotary vane vacuum pump is a positive displacement pump that uses rotating vanes to generate a vacuum. It consists of a rotor with multiple rotating vanes mounted centrifugally within a housing. Due to centrifugal force, the vanes slide out, forming a cavity between themselves and the housing. These vanes separate a specific volume of the pumping medium and trap it within the cavity. During rotation, the cavity dimensions decrease until the pumping medium reaches maximum compressibility and is discharged at the outlet. The cavity dimensions expand again at the end of rotation.
